Raptors contenders or pretenders

When the Raptors acquired Jermaine O`neal there was talk of them being a contender in the eastern conference. lets dissect there starting Five which is fairly decent. At the 5 you have 6-foot-11-inch Jermaine O`neal who is versatile and agile enough to guard bigs like Dwight Howard and even KG he can also can cover them boys out west like David West, TD, Amare, Yao, etc. I feel he is underrated defensively. then at the 4 you got CB 4 captain of the squad and franchise player `Nuff said. at the 3 you got Super Jamario the 28 yr old sophomore sensation who is athletic enough to finish on a fast break. at the 2 guard you got Anthony Parker a little aged but well seasoned a player i think with a little more freedom could become a 20-point scorer night in and night out, he also plays both ends of the floor. then to round of a fairly good starting five is Jose Manuel Calderon with the best assist-2- turnover ratio i expect an efficient offense from the Raptors. they also have a good bench. The have the `07 No.1 draft pick and three point shootout out champ two years running, in Andrea Bargnani, and Jason Kapono, The also have the budding game of now 4 yr pro swing man Joey G who has been tearing it up in the summer league hopefully he can carry that through to training camp and then the regular season.
